Get to know the role
We are looking for a Commercial Team Lead to manage the Customer Acquisition (BD) and Account Management (AM) team. We believe a successful candidate has good people management and leadership skills, but if you believe you have what it takes then we'd love to hear from you either way. This role is required because you will ensure the performance of each member and country as planned, interact with partners, closely working on projects too. The Day-to-Day Activities
Merchant acquisition

  • Responsible for defining merchant acquiring and onboarding strategy including corporate partners and local SMB merchants for GrabExpress

  • Responsible for overseeing the execution of the end to end of the transaction for Merchants and Enterprise-class Partners

  • Provide direction and drive execution for different sales channels

Account Management

  • Lead and provide direction to Key Account Management team to develop solutions to up sell and cross sell other Grab's verticals products to current partners.

  • Manage key merchant accounts by ensuring you understand your merchants business objectives, pain points and provide the right products and services across GrabExpress to ensure continuous engagement

  • Keep monitoring key accounts performance and make sure the KAM team understands the partner's concern, requirements and provide prompt resolution and support to keep the highest level of customer satisfaction.

  • Manage P&L of all corporate accounts and remain financial performance as directed by management. Prepare, report and forecast all performance data at vertical, country and regional level.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams: New business, Innovation, Marketing, Tech and Ops to drive new initiatives, business concepts/ models that serve GrabExpress customers incremental demands.

Team Management

  • Build and maintain an outstanding team with cooperative and competitive team culture. Provide coaching and continuous professional development of each team member.

The Must-Haves

  • Bachelors degree in Business Management, Logistics related field.

  • 4+ years experience managing BD and Account Management teams.

  • 6+ years experience in B2B selling preferably within the ecommerce industries: ecommerce platform, e-wallet, ride-hailing, food delivery

  • Experience with Project Management and process implementation.

  • Proficient knowledge of cloud-based CRM software (Salesforce etc).

  • Robust experience and skills with Office 365, PowerBI or other Business Intelligence tools

  • SME ability to understand and manage a budget, forecasting staffing needs, and performance assessment

  • Ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a start - up. Deep desire to excel and develop a career in acquisition.

  • Strong communication skills in both Vietnamese & English.

  • Good understanding of business organizations and their buying cycles is preferred.
