AHN is seeking a Software Tester to join our company. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of software and test design, the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyze the results. Ultimately, the software tester should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and have up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design. Some duties include software and systems analysis, mitigating risk, and preventing software issues.
Responsibilities:
Be trained and have developed skills regarding testing
Research and learn new testing techniques and tools
Maintain and execute test cases
Adopt new techniques and implement automated checking
Daily report and track the performance of products
Analyze test results and detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to ensure the software is fit for purpose
Provide timely solutions
Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems
Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
Executing tests on software usability.
Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
Preparing reports on all aspects of the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
Interacting with clients to understand product requirements.
Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
Test web, and mobile (android and iOS) applications
You must have the following:
A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
Working knowledge of programming.
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
Ready to learn and adapt to new technologies and knowledge
Basic knowledge of IT software development and testing
Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
