Company Overview

A company is hiring for a Software Engineering Manager position.

Location: Binh Duong

Job Description

Lead and develop the internal software engineering team, including hiring, coaching, task allocation, and performance management
Manage the transition of software products from external vendors to the internal development team while overseeing ongoing system operations and feature enhancements
Define technical architecture, select appropriate technologies, conduct code reviews, and maintain software quality standards
Plan and monitor sprint progress, manage development workflows, and improve team productivity and delivery processes
Introduce and promote AI-assisted development tools and best practices across the engineering team
Collaborate closely with management stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business objectives
Support additional tasks and projects assigned by management

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in software development, including more than 3 years in a leadership or team management role
Experience building or scaling development teams and managing day-to-day engineering operations
Strong project planning, task management, and problem-solving capabilities
Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn new technologies
Good English communication skills for technical documentation and business discussions, Japanese is a plus
Experience with mobile development using React Native and TypeScript
Hands-on experience with frontend technologies such as Vue.js or Nuxt.js
Knowledge of backend development using Java Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases
Understanding of Git, CI/CD, Docker, and software architecture concepts including MVC, Clean Architecture, and Microservices
Basic knowledge of unit testing and integration testing
Experience working with Japanese companies or Japanese partners is an advantage
Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code is a plus
