The candidate will report directly to Keppel Real Estate Division's (REDiv) Risk & Compliance Business Partner. The candidate will oversee the corporate and regulatory risk & compliance matters for Vietnam and support Keppel's overall initiatives in the country , but not limited to, the various initiatives below for REDiv Vietnam's businesses in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi:
Implementation of Keppel's Code of Conduct, compliance policies, standards and guidelines, ensuring its alignment with local laws/regulations
Provide thought leadership and advisory to business/functional heads and ensure adequate measures to manage/prevent/mitigate regulatory, legal & financial risks
Familiarity with the ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System would be an advantage
Ensure the latest developments, including regulatory changes, are implemented in a timely manner along with risk mitigation on such changes impacting the business.
Work closely with the business lines as a business partner
Develop and deliver training & communication materials to raise staff awareness and understanding of risk and compliance principles, while promoting a positive compliance culture
Any other work related initiatives as may be requested by Keppel's Head, Risk & Compliance or REDiv's Business Partner, as the case may be
JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least 8 years of working experience in risk and compliance with good understanding and knowledge of compliance principles, programme elements, laws and regulations
High level of professional ethics, personal integrity and stewardship
Independent, analytical and meticulous, have thought leadership skills, ability to problem-solve, and organised
Ability to work as an individual contributor, team player and a manager when the situation calls for it
Strong interpersonal and communications skills in English and Vietnamese (verbal and written)
Ability to collaborate and work independently across businesses, geographies and with various stakeholders
