Senior IT Project Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage full-cycle large-scale IT projects (budget 5-30+ billion VND, team 15-50 members): initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closing

• Develop detailed Project Plans: WBS, schedule (Gantt/Critical Path), resource plan, budget, risk register, communication plan

• Manage scope and requirements: collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to define/refine requirements, manage change requests according to standard procedures

• Coordinate cross-functional teams: Development, QA, DevOps, Security, UX/UI, Business, Vendor teams to ensure delivery milestones

• Manage risks & issues proactively: identify, assess, mitigate risks; escalate issues promptly; Maintain RAID log

• Vendor/System Integrator Management: SOW negotiation, delivery tracking, SLA reinforcement, quality control for outsourcing or SI projects

• Project Budget Management: Cost estimation, budget tracking, variance analysis, EVM reporting

• Project Progress Reporting: Weekly/Monthly Status Reports, Steering Committee Presentations, Executive Dashboards

• UAT and Go-Live Management: Test Planning Coordination, Go/No-Go Decision Support, Cutover Planning, Hypercare Management

• Implement project closure: lessons learned, knowledge transfer, post implementation review, realization benefits tracking

Job requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management, including at least 4 years managing large-scale projects (budget > VND 10 billion or team > 20 members)

• PMP certification (required); CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) or PMI-ACP is an advantage.

• Proficiency in project management tools: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, or equivalent.

• Experience working with both Waterfall (for system implementation) and Agile/Scrum (for product development).

• Stakeholder management skills: effective communication with technical teams, business users, C-level executives, and external vendors.

• Experience managing projects with vendor/system integrators: contract management, delivery governance, escalation management.

• Sufficient technical understanding to challenge technical decisions, review architecture proposals, and assess technical risks.

• Problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills in complex, multi-stakeholder project environments.

• Good spoken English (managing international vendors, reading technical documentation).

PRIORITY / ADVANTAGE

• Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) for large-scale agile projects

• Project management experience in aviation, fintech or ecommerce

• ITIL Foundation certification (understanding of IT Service Management)

• Experience with Data Migration projects: planning, ETL coordination, data validation, cutover
