This is a highly unique opportunity for a Data Scientist / Data Engineer to join a new and rapidly growing team. In this role you will partner with our close-knit team of quantitative researchers, data engineers, technologists and data sourcing colleagues to analyze and enrich a broad range of structured and unstructured big data.
I. What You'll Do
- Auto-generating large-scale performance analysis reports from thousands of datasets, millions of features, and hundreds of terabytes of data to validate signal predictability and reliability.
- Researching and generating high-quality features using machine learning and LLM-based similarity analysis for feature grouping and signal discovery.
- Enriching and transforming large-scale structured and unstructured data for quantitative research and predictive modeling.
- Applying machine learning and deep learning techniques to analyze data patterns and support quantitative trading strategies.
- Collaborating with research teams to develop tradable signals, optimize research workflows, and improve data quality and validation processes.
II. What You'll Bring
- At least 4 years of experience working with Python for data science, machine learning, or backend/data-intensive applications
- Strong coding ability in Python (recently using: NumPy, Pandas, PEP8, Jupyter Notebook) and/or C++ (STL, OOP)
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving skills at LeetCode Medium-Hard level
- Strong foundation in mathematics, especially probability, statistics, and analytical thinking
- Practical experience with deep neural networks, machine learning techniques, and building robust data science pipelines or real-time applications, including time-series forecasting and analysis
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean architecture, testing, documentation, version control (Git), and familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
- Plus: Awards or notable achievements in programming contests (ACM ICPC, LeetCode, Codeforces) or mathematics Olympiads are a strong advantage
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) to collaborate effectively with global teams
