Sales Engineer (Robotics)

Job Description



1) Job Summary
. Execute all sales strategies and activities initiated by the management to generate targeted amount ofleads
. Provide accurate monthly/ yearly/ sales forecast to manager for business planning
. Set selling prices and negotiate with partners/ customers to achieve best profitable deal for the company
. Conduct market analysis as and when required by Management for business planning
2) Key Accountabilities:
Increase inner-share of current key accounts
. Engage key customers on a regular basis to manage and meet their expectations
. Identify potential new projects, work with presales engineers to create/ refine solutions and present tocustomers
. Lead customers towards closing the deal
Expand current key account
. Identify prospects in the market
. Have a good total understanding of prospect's manufacturing process to identify their challenges andprovide company solutions
. Work with presales engineers to create/ refine solutions and present company robotics product line-up tocustomers
. Lead customer towards closing the first deal
Manage current list of partners expectation
. Engage partners on a regular basis to manage and meet their expectations
. Manage partners towards achieving company expectation from them
. Identify potential new projects, work with company's and partner's presales engineers to create / refinesolutions and present to end-customers
. Lead partners towards deploying company robots and close the deal
. Support partners in marketing activities such as seminars and exhibitions with company productmessaging and demo units
Expand channel partner network
. Identify competent partner prospects in the market with set of criteria given by management
. Have good total understanding of prospect's business, to identify their how they can contribute towardscompany's business
. Lead prospects towards signing up with company
New Market Development
. Identify key manufacturers to approach in the given industries directed by management
. Have a good total understanding of target industries manufacturing process to identify their challengesand provide company solutions
Others
. Provide managers with accurate and timely on sales and market reports
. Work closely with marketing team on carrying out activities such as seminars, webinars, exhibition andnew product launches
. Work with presales engineers to resolve customers/ partners implementation of projects
. Work with presales and service engineers to rectify product issues at customer's sites
. Work with administrators to put in customer's orders
. Work with administrators and headquarter factory team on customers delivery expectations
. Conduct product presentations at corporate events
. Draft sales proposals and quotations
. Ensure proper filling of sales documents
. Conduct due diligence in daily tasks to ensure compliance standard achieved
3) Requirement
Job/ Skills Competences
. Fluent in English both written and spoken forms
. Good presentation and communication skills
. Good knowledge in MS Office
. Basic knowledge in logic programming language such as C++ is added advantage
. Basic knowledge in 3D simulation programming such as Solidworks and/ or AutoCAD is added
advantage
. Hunter sales mentality
. Work independently
Critical Work Experience
. At least five years in a robotics sales position with a reputable robotics brand
. Will also consider candidate with a least five years working in a system integration company with
responsibility on selling industrial robots
Qualifications
. Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
. Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering is also accepted
. Must be from a recognized tertiary or university
