Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality written website content that employs SEO best practices to reach and engage our target client base. Content may include landing pages, blog posts, product description pages, FAQs, and more.
  • Conduct thorough keyword and market research to produce content that drives organic traffic and conversions.
  • Maintain and enhance the brand voice across website copy, following best practices for headlines, calls to action, meta descriptions, and the overall user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing specialists to track SEO performance and analyze content needs.
  • Refresh existing website content to maintain SEO health.
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional creative team members, including graphic designers and web product developers, to create cohesive website content that supports the overall brand strategy.
  • Apply knowledge of our audience and industry so that content remains relevant and engaging, ensuring strong content performance.
  • Review and edit copy for correctness, clarity, and consistency.
Requirements
  • A well-rounded portfolio of professional web copywriting samples that showcase writing skills and ability to develop persuasive, authoritative, and user-friendly content
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and tactics, ensuring broad alignment among marketing campaigns and content
  • Ability to develop error-free creative content that adheres to brand guidelines and content marketing strategies
  • Experience using SEO tools for keyword research, rank tracking, content optimization, and competitor analysis
  • Experience uploading, editing, and publishing on content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress or Squarespace—basic knowledge of HTML is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret content performance metrics (e.g., search ranking, conversion rate, and bounce rate) and adjust content accordingly
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment, including with marketing and content strategists, graphic designers, and website developers
  • Ability to adapt to changing marketing strategies, business priorities, and SEO trends
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related fields. In some cases, an excellent writing portfolio may be considered sufficient, regardless of education or training.
