1. Coach and lead QA staff level to ensure QA Inspection Plans are deployed, implemented effectively.
2. Supports QA Manager to communicate the QA policy and objectives down through the QA team and Suppliers in the source base to ensure clear understanding and ownership.
3. Collaborates with other cross-functional departments in supporting and facilitating QA operations/executions on a regular basis
4. Change role from QC to QA. Learns and Teaches concepts of Total Quality Management Concept to anticipate risk assessment and possible Quality failures and prevent them.
5. Review and investigate customer claims and implement CAP (corrective action plan) in analyzing quality issues and implementing corrective actions to enable prevention of such issues in future.
6. Regularly conducts factory technical Audit and Works with factory on the CAP for improvement
7. Ensures brand required policy and procedures are understood, implemented and adhered to by QA staffs and vendors/factories.
8. Support QA Manager to work with QA team for staffing, training and performance management of His/her QA staffs.
9. Consults and supports QA manager in planning appropriate staffing and resources based on company production plans.
10. Relay QA manager to introduce QA new initiatives such as Factory Certified Quality Auditors at factories and Coddy Quality Control Policy to QA staff and Factories to build ownership and delivery to company Quality goals.
