Job Description

About the Role

Lead sourcing activities for assigned components, including vendor identification, price analysis, and commercial negotiations to meet cost and supply targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support business and plant requirements.
  • Drive year‑over‑year cost reduction and total cost management initiatives.
  • Manage and further develop existing suppliers to improve quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to build a qualified, competitive, and strategically positioned supply base.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts to ensure alignment with project cost targets and business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally (quality, engineering, operations) to resolve supplier performance and quality issues.
  • Support multi‑site requirements and coordinate with internal stakeholders across regions where needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of purchasing / sourcing experience, ideally within manufacturing.
  • Experience in metal, mechanical, or industrial components sourcing preferred.

Required Skills

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
  • International exposure or regional stakeholder management experience is an advantage.
