About the Role
Lead sourcing activities for assigned components, including vendor identification, price analysis, and commercial negotiations to meet cost and supply targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support business and plant requirements.
- Drive year‑over‑year cost reduction and total cost management initiatives.
- Manage and further develop existing suppliers to improve quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to build a qualified, competitive, and strategically positioned supply base.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to ensure alignment with project cost targets and business objectives.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally (quality, engineering, operations) to resolve supplier performance and quality issues.
- Support multi‑site requirements and coordinate with internal stakeholders across regions where needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years of purchasing / sourcing experience, ideally within manufacturing.
- Experience in metal, mechanical, or industrial components sourcing preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
- International exposure or regional stakeholder management experience is an advantage.
