JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview
This exciting role is to lead -
a. Marketing activities supporting the Vietnam Abbott Vascular team driving sales in Drug Eluting Stents, Imaging (Optical Coherence Tomography & Physiology) and Endovascular portfolio.
b. Therapy development and capital sales growth for the Imaging portfolio

Applicants are required to be self-motivated & driven, with the agility & flexibility to operate in this dynamic market sector.

Primary Job Function
Marketing:
To develop annual marketing plans, co-ordinate their successful implementation and grow the long term sales, profit, and market share position for assigned products within the context of the overall Corporate Business Plan. Also, to evaluate the practicality and potential of new products introduction and market development.

Therapy Development:
Be the subject matter expert on the technical selling aspects of the Imaging portfolio which consists of Optical Coherence Tomography & Physiology consoles and drive sales of OCT and FFR consoles in the top 20 accounts in the country.
Drive usage and disposable sales in accounts where the consoles are already installed.
Influence the coronary sales team to support these efforts.

Core Job Responsibilities
. Develop annual marketing plans, co-ordinate their successful implementation and grow the long term sales, profit and market share position for assigned products within the context of the overall Corporate Business Plan.
. Drive New Product Launches and manage products at various stages in the Product Life Cycle to grow revenue and profit. Go to market strategy and execution and developing and managing key stakeholder engagement and relationships.
. Evaluate the practicality and potential of new products and market developments.
. Participate in the development of marketing objectives, strategies (annual brand plan), and ensure their execution.
. Evaluate the practicality and potential of product updates and market development.
. Participate in planning sales promotion and advertising in support of existing products (including National or international meetings/congresses) and determine market strategies and sales tactics to achieve product objectives.
. Own driving ad hoc activities related to World Heart Day, World Diabetes Day etc.
. Develop annual sales volume and profit forecasts and expense budgets
. Track performance (Market share, sales, expenses and profitability) and campaigns KPIs, identify any variation vs LBE/Plan and develop contingency plans as needed.
. Forecast product requirements, identify potential supply issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
. Utilize market research, brand team, advisory boards, and 3rd party data to validate key assumptions, test campaigns and gain insights to drive further performance.
. Work with Regulatory to implement regulatory and/or pricing updates for the product and its accessories.
. Ensure all business activities comply with the relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards. Review complaints and suggestions relating to assigned products.
. Develops and maintains effective collaborative working relations with creative services/agency teams, medical/regulatory teams, commercial support and sales teams.

. Drive sales of OCT and FFR consoles in the top 20 accounts in the country.
. Drive usage and disposable sales in accounts where the consoles are already installed.
. Influence the coronary sales team to support these efforts.
. Organize CMEs to engage and build the KOL network
. Track competitor activities and factor those in while building our own marketing plans
. Translate or facilitate translation of Advertising and Promotional material in Vietnamese from the English versions provided by regional team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education
. University degree in a Business or Science Discipline or equivalent.

Minimum Experience/ Professional Skills Required
. Overall, 5-6 years of relevant experience, of which minimum 2 years healthcare sales/marketing experience in a related environment is advantageous.
. Strong sales track record.
. Sound understanding or qualifications in marketing related principles.
. Capital sales experience will be advantageous
. Ability to translate to the insight from data analysis and marketing understanding
. Interpersonal skills and influencing skill to work, collaborate and manage internal and external stakeholders in effective way

Behavioral/ Leadership Skills
. Proficient in verbal and written communication.
. A self-driven team player who possesses strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.

Language Skills
English and Vietnamese

Computer Skills
. MS Office
