As a Product Development Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead end-to-end new product development projects, including planning, testing, execution, and launch, while managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives by evaluating alternative ingredients, materials, and suppliers, and reducing dependency risks.
- Oversee product testing and sensory evaluation to ensure products meet customer expectations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor product performance and market trends to identify opportunities for new products, product improvement and cost savings.
- Managing budgets and timelines for product development projects.
- Ensure compliance with GLP standards and proper documentation, while supervising lab activities such as sampling, testing, and prototyping.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful and timely product delivery.
Anforderungsprofil
A Successful Product Development Manager Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
- 8+ years in F&B or retail industry, with 3+ years in product development or project management
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Solid knowledge of product development, ingredients, and food safety standards
- Experience in cost optimization, supplier management, and process improvement
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills with fluent English
- Highly organized, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
