Role Description
A procurement executive may also perform bidding processes, monitor supplier performance, prepare proposals and purchase orders, and resolve issues and concerns.
Responsibilities
In charge of buying ingredients, equipment, tools, and services.
Work with suppliers to make sure projects are on time, on quality, and on budget.
Negotiate purchasing terms and costs with vendors.
Build and retain a strong relationship with suppliers.
Research potential vendors/ Sourcing new supplier
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
Prepare contracts and paperwork.
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
Review the quality of purchased products.
Update order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) in internal databases
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
Support another team member.
Qualifications
Good teamwork
Flexible and resourceful
Fluent in English
Good communication and negotiation
Preferably 1 - 2 years of experience
Able to work independently and under pressure.
Good at handling contracts and paperwork
Having experience in the F&B, chains, or startup company is an advantage.
