Job Description
Nidec SV Probe was founded in 1994, and engages in the manufacture, marketing, and service of high-performance probe cards and test solutions for the semiconductor industry. The companys products include vertical and fine pitch vertical probe cards, spring-pin probe cards for Wafer Level Chip Scale Packaging (WLCSP), cantilever probe cards (including cards for CMOS Image Sensors and LCDs), blade cards, motherboards, and innovative probe materials that extend probe card life. It also offers printed circuit board design and fabrication services, including digital, analog, mixed-signal, memory boards, and multilayer printed circuit boards. The company was acquired by Nidec-Read Corporation on October 31, 2017. Nidec SV Probe has an extensive network of manufacturing, sales and support centers worldwide with coverage of the major semiconductor regions around the globe.
A. Job description:
- Receive project information from PCB application engineer, sales, and customer.
- Communicate directly with customers for questions and design clarification.
- Prepare necessary files for customer review and approval.
- Pad-stack and component creation including schematic symbol and PCB footprint.
- Deploy the schematic diagram.
- Export bill of material (BOM). Calculate and select substitute components.
- Impedance calculation for single-ended and differential pairs.
- Select PCB material and calculate layer stack-up based on SI PI specification.
- Netlist to PCB layout and process component placement.
- Work closely with the SI PI engineer to optimize component placement, layer stack-up, routing priority, and copper plane distribution.
- Contact fab vendors for DFM specs to ensure the design meets their capability.
- Process PCB layout routing, trace length matching, power plane, back-drill, clean up DRCs,
- Generating manufacturing documentation such as Gerbers, IPC, solder paste stencil, assembly drawing, netlist connection
- Cooperate with other departments for any relative issues.
B. Qualification
- Have a background in Electronics, Electrical- Electronics, Mechatronics, or relevant
- At least 02 years of experience in the PCB Design
- At least 02 years of experience in using Cadence Allegro & Cam350
- Ability to work independently as well as with team members.
- Able to write/communicate in English.
