As our intern, you will be mainly responsible to co-ordinate and support delivery of training programmes of public, in-house, and ETS (Enterprise Training Solutions) training events by designing and developing local F2F (Face-to-face) and/or e-learning training courses under the strict supervision and guidance of a local assessor and tutor teams.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Design and develop F2F and e-learning training courses using proven Instructional Design concepts and learning methodologies (such as ADDIE and Accelerated Learning) to produce high quality outputs.

  • Transform the ideated and planned training work of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify target audiences, set clear objectives, design session plans, write storyboards, create content, compile scripts and select assessment methods.

  • Utilise practical examples, case studies and scenarios and the features of e-learning to achieve learning outcomes.

  • Design F2F and e-learning training materials so that the content is well structured, engaging, interactive, and pitched at the appropriate level and that it complies with certified body requirements.

  • Format, edit, and proofread own work, and the work of others, to improve quality and consistency and ensure that the F2F and e-learning training product development processes and guidelines are followed.

  • Prioritise and schedule the F2F and e-learning training product development to meet deadlines and development timeframes.

  • Recommend new F2F and e-learning training course design solutions, development methods and delivery styles to update F2F and e-learning training products by researching and analysing client buying patterns/trends.

  • Operate the administrative systems and procedures required to support the training business to ensure the department runs efficiently and delivers to BSI's standards of customer excellence.

  • Provide assistance in the effective execution of the Public Training Calendar.

  • Manage the flow of documentation and correspondence of the department's complaints/compliments system to ensure the process operates effectively.

  • Any other task as assigned by Line Manager.

  • Has excellent organizational skills

  • Highly analytical, intuitive, logical and exhibits practical approach to converting SME ideas into training modules

  • Adept in problem solving to deal with problems as constructively and swiftly as possible

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Understands the values and benefits of teamwork and able to provide support

  • Works on own initiative to manage a varied, often unpredictable, workload

  • Works with office systems, especially those required to organise large amounts of paperwork and correspondence. Works with computerised office management tools, including computer diary systems, databases and spreadsheets
