Operation Excellence Lead - Operations, Shopee Xpress

As an Operations Excellence Lead, you are responsible for ensuring the operation performance of Shopee Xpress (SPX) to run as efficiently and effectively as possible. This role is also tasked with developing new processes or SOPs and initiating projects to help SPX become more efficient in the future. Key activities for this role include:

  • Contribute strategic insights on operational design and improvements. Play the leading role in driving enhancements to Shopee Xpress delivery operations. This requires a high effective partnering between Operation Excellence with Operations (First Miles & Last Miles, Sorting Center, Linehaul and other related office teams).
  • Drive metrics to measure and monitor performance/KPIs and cost of Operation teams (FMLM, SOC, Linehaul). This will be done using both systematic and manually developed solutions.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on customer and operational priorities.
  • Strategically plan to enable our team to proactively respond to the dynamics of our networks, customers, and operations.
  • Ensure data quality issues are tackled by understanding the root cause and creating the respective solutions to serve for Operations.
  • Plan, structure, and manage complex analyses concurrently to develop key insights and delivery performance enhancement pursuant to business goals.

  • 8+ years of industry experience with proven business impact. Experience in operations excellence, supply chain analysis or logistics operations is a huge plus
  • Demonstrated ability or history of achievements to drive complex projects to completion with strong project management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • A strong leadership skill with innovative and growth mindset to drive team members to achieve team's goals.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skill which can work in harmony and strategically influence different stakeholders with different levels.
  • Good English proficiency in both verbal and writing
