Job Overview

As a Mobile App and Hardware Device Tester, you will be responsible for conducting manual tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our mobile applications and accompanying hardware devices. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of mobile platforms, and the ability to work closely with cross- functional teams to identify and resolve issues.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Test Execution:

• Conduct thorough manual testing of mobile applications across various platforms (iOS, Android).
• Test hardware devices that interface with the mobile app, ensuring device- app compatibility and performance.
• Simulate user environments to test different scenarios.

2. Defect Reporting:

• Document and report defects and inconsistencies in the mobile application and hardware interfaces.
• Provide detailed reports, including steps to reproduce, severity of the issue, and potential impact.

3. Test Planning:

• Assist in developing test plans and test cases based on technical and user requirements.
• Maintain and update test documentation as the product evolves.

4. Collaboration:

• Work closely with the development team to communicate findings and follow up on fixes.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand user needs and ensure they are reflected in testing scenarios.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that final product adheres to the specified standards of quality and reliability.
• Recommend improvements to enhance user experience and product performance.

6. Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
• Attend training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Qualifications:

1. Education and Experience:

• Proven experience in manual testing of mobile applications and hardware devices.

2. Skills:

• Strong knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android). Familiarity with hardware testing and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

3. Other Requirements:
