What You'll Do
Conduct regular category research and analysis to develop the assortment within the food, wine & other categories. Propose listing/delisting items or suppliers to meet category KPIs
Continuously review the product category mix to ensure alignment with customer needs and preferences, striving for full customer satisfaction at all times.
Manage relationships with suppliers regarding trading terms, marketing activations, and trading income.
Negotiate with suppliers to optimize merchandise roles, focusing on contracts, assortment, pricing, promotions, and distribution.
Monitor product category performance, including pricing, promotion effectiveness, product assortment, and product quality. Generate necessary reports as required.
Coordinate across departments regarding stock management and product exposure.
Supervise the supply base to maximize sales and profitability.
Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Stay updated with market trends and contribute to innovation and excitement within the product range.
Develop import assortments that provide a competitive advantage in the Vietnamese market.
Design and implement merchandising plano grams to optimize space allocation.
What's Ideal To Us
Bachelor's degree in Logistic Supply chain, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably within the food and wine industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate across departments and work effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with market trends and a passion for delivering innovative products to customers.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Fluency in Vietnamese and English languages preferred.
Prior experience in retail or FMCG sectors is advantageous
