Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Descriptions:

• Design machine/mechanism for Robotics/Automation Projects (humanoid robot arm/hand/head and factory automation systems).
• Design miniature tools integrated onto robot arms/hands.
• Modify and customize existing designs to meet customer's demand while ensure effective and safety standards.
• Research and develop new ideas for new products, innovations, and technologies.
• Generate the ideas, concept design & propose solution.
• Assembling, testing & onsite support.
• Work closely with Electrical and Software team.

Job requirements:

• Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering background or equivalent.
• Proficient in at least one 3D CAD tool.
• Good knowledge of machining, material, fabricating processes, heat treatment, surface treatment, etc.
• Good knowledge of Mechanical Drafting Tolerance.
• Have good knowledge on standard parts from different supplier such as Misumi is an advantage.
• Able to simulate the mechanism by using CAD tools is an advantage.
