Take ownership for delivering complex projects

In this role, you will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function. Strong knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with own technical space.
As the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, you will also be responsible for:


  • Interpreting and communicating of industry and international codes and standards.

  • Interpreting and implementing of client standards and global practices.

  • Ensuring and verify technical compliance of products with specification, codes, standards, legislation and client technical requirements.

  • Engaging with all relevant stakeholders (internal and external) developing and maintaining effective relationships/partnerships to meet project deliverables.

  • Generating and / or reviewing technical procurement specifications, parts and document suites.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Have degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with relevant work experience.

  • Be compliant to company SHE and Operating Policies and Procedures and relevant standards where applicable and appropriate (e.g., API, ASME, ANSI, ISO, IET, ATEX OSHAS NORSOK CompEx, OSHAS (NFPA 70E ).

  • Be conscientious, flexible, versatile and determined. Capable of assertive and positive communication and performance.

  • Be self-motivated and able to work both individually and as part of a team.

  • Have proven ability to achieve business targets, actively build relationships with clients.
