Take ownership for delivering complex projects
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be leading the creation of systems and solutions that fulfil both the business and technical needs of our customers. You'll learn and evolve in an innovative environment, have the autonomy to make key decisions, solve problems and provide technical guidance to our regional team.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
.Undertaking and implementing mechanical engineering design and activities.
.Identifying, assessing and taking actions to mitigate those risks to people, plant and the environment because of the engineering activities.
.Ensuring all necessary engineering deliverables are identified to satisfy the contractual and third-party requirements for the work.
.Establishing the planning process through to the development of a schedule & prioritization for all assigned engineering duties & activities.
.Executing work according to the necessary standard and schedule within budgets for duties and activities assigned.
.Ensuring that the engineering activities are implemented from the initial definition of customer requirements, planning the works through to the final handover to the client.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
.Have Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering/Design Engineering & engineering experience gained in an Oil and Gas, Energy, Industrial or renewable environment.
.Have demonstrate experience of collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global-matrix environment to deliver complex technical projects and solutions.
.Have good communication and presentation skills to articulate technical information in a clear and concise manner in English.
.Have good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing ANSI Y14.5M (GD&T) and experienced in performing Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS).
.Have proficiency in using MS Office applications, MathCad, AutoCAD, CreO/ProE/3D software and TeamCenter.
