Manager, Distribution Planning & Business Analytics & Compensation

Job Scope / Position Summary

- To be responsible for proposing and monitoring effectiveness of Distribution Compensation and Contest; managing MIS and conducting analytics for distribution performance strategy and customer management, including but not limited to: develop Distribution KPI plan; monitoring and provide meaningful insights of Distribution strategy to Executives Management and Senior Distribution Management Teams.

Main Responsibility

- Develop and maintain dashboard/reports for distribution management and customer management.

- Conduct deep dive analytics on distribution performance: providing meaningful insights for distribution performance management

- Conduct deep dive analytics on customer management: providing meaningful insights for customer management (customer profiling, customer attrition, customer upselling)

- Study and propose planning for compensation and contest of Agency and GenE

- Conduct market intelligence to remain competitive edge of GVL schemes

Key Result Area

- Timely update on MIS report with high accuracy.

- Practical and relevant deep dive insights on business issues related to distribution management on request basis.

- Practical and relevant deep dive insights on business issues related to customer management on request basis.

- Practical study and propose planning/costing for compensation and contest

Timely update on market intelligence

Qualification and Experience Requirement

Education

University Degree in Business Statistics/Business Administration/Finance/Insurance

Experience

Minimum 4 years of business analytics, MIS management, or strategic planning for multi-national life insurance companies

Strong working experience on data processing, report automation/visualization, MIS management for senior management

Experience on projects management as advantage

Skills

Strong analytic thinking, and solid business acumen

Experience in project management is an advantage

Basic knowledge of advanced business analytic methods/approach (profiling, 2 variables analysis, classification, logistic regression modelling) as advantage

Skillful in using Microsoft Excel VBA, Access, SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Power Point (R or Python skills as advantages)

Assertive communication and excellent presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English
