You will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Including activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components.
As a Lead Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.

  • Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.

  • Supervising an in house team of piping engineers as well as verifying engineering produced by a Sub Contractor.

  • Communicating across direct organization. Presenting to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.

  • Connecting the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Master or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Have substantial experience in Engineering/Technology.

  • Have experience with design of complex piping systems, preferably for subsea applications such as manifolds, flowlines, pipelines, risers, umbilical etc.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of piping calculation methods and software applications, including piping stress analysis programs as well as 3-D Finite Element Analysis program for local verification of piping components.

  • Demonstrate knowledge about specific piping design areas, including HISC verification, VIV, FIV.

  • Demonstrate experience with design of complex piping systems, preferably for subsea applications such as manifolds, flowlines, pipelines, risers, umbilical.
