The Last Mile Operations Associate will play a pivotal role in pushing the boundaries of last mile operations and delivery, to ultimately optimise cost, reduce lead time, and improve experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities, coupled with hands-on experience in implementing ground operational changes. The ideal candidate will lead pilot programs, analyse regional operational data, and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our last mile delivery operations.

  • Develop a deep understanding of last mile operations, and utilise regional and market-specific data analytics to identify last mile operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
  • Conduct root cause analyses and evaluate tradeoffs between using advanced data analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, etc.)
  • Work with product and local teams to design and develop programs, processes, SOPs or features to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance
  • Lead pilot implementations with local markets teams to test, measure, iterate and ultimately scale new ground operations initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with local markets to gain a deep understanding of their unique business challenges, scaling factors, and operational constraints
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure that improvements are sustained over time


  • Degree in STEM or other subjects with an analytical component. Candidates with 0 to 1 years of experience welcomed to apply
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions experience with SQL is a plus
  • Willingness to travel with a focus on on-ground implementation as this is a regional role
  • Passionate about deep-diving into problems and driving changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen learning attitude, not afraid of trying and implementing ground changes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Good project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
