Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an In-house Teacher Trainer located in Hanoi. As an In-house Teacher Trainer at Language Link Vietnam, you will be responsible for delivering training programs to teachers, conducting observations and providing feedback, developing and updating training materials, and supporting the professional development of the teaching staff. You will also collaborate with the Academic Management team and contribute to the overall improvement of the teaching quality and standards at Language Link Vietnam.
Liaise with Schools Link Director and Academic Manager (AM) to:
Develop ESL teaching programs/ curriculums when required.
Develop training program, manual and materials.
Provide a train the trainer program to key academic staff and regional head teachers (RHT) to enable them to train and coach, run professional development workshops and other professional development activities for teachers and teaching assistants at partner schools.
Provide direct training programs, workshops to teachers before and during the school year.
Prepare and deliver workshops for local Vietnamese teachers of English or teaching assistant teams.
Train RHTs and other academic management team members to accurately observe lessons and provide supportive and constructive feedback.
Be involved in the development, implementation and revision of effective assessment measures for all levels.
Advise the SL Director, AM, and other academic management team members on curriculum development to design courses that are both effective for student learning and workable in the local context.
Be involved in workshops for parents, schools, Hanoi Department of Education and Training (DOET) or MOET.
Design and develop CEFR-style tests, IELTS-style tests and others.
Be in involved in developing projects if required.
Select appropriate materials for our primary and secondary programs.
Confer regularly in meetings to discuss issues and offer possible solutions.
Liaise with other academic management team members and Teaching Assistant management team in organizing workshops.
Provide cover if required.
