Job Description

1. Job Description:

The Housekeeping Admin staff is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operation, cleanliness, hygiene standards, waste management, and housekeeping services across the factory, office and common areas.

This role plays a critical position in supporting factory operations, customer/audit readiness, employee working environment, and coordination with all departments regarding housekeeping services, floor cleaning, contractor management, and waste handling activities.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Housekeeping Operation Management

  • Supervise overall housekeeping activities for office, production, warehouse, pantry, restroom, meeting room, and common areas.
  • Ensure cleaning quality meets company standards, audit requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Monitor daily housekeeping schedules, service's manpower allocation, and cleaning checklists.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping arrangement during audits, customer visits, and company events.

B. Waste & Scrap Management

  • Manage daily waste collection and segregation activities:
  • Domestic waste
  • Industrial waste
  • Recyclable waste/scrap
  • Ensure waste segregation follows EHS and company requirements.
  • Coordinate waste collection schedules with vendors and relevant departments.
  • Monitor housekeeping conditions around waste storage areas.

C. Office & Facility Support

  • Support management of office consumables and stationeries control.
  • Coordinate meeting room setup and office support activities if required.
  • Support facility activities related to cleanliness, layout arrangement, and visual management.

D. Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain housekeeping records, reports, checklists, and contractor documents.
  • Ensure housekeeping activities comply with:
  • ISO requirements
  • EHS procedures
  • Customer audit expectations
  • Support internal audits and corrective action follow-up.

3. Job Requirements

Education

  • College or University degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in housekeeping/service management within factory or industrial environment.
  • Experience managing outsourced housekeeping contractors and cleaning operations.
  • Experience in waste segregation and scrap management is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good English communication skills (spoken & written) are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and service management.
  • Good understanding of procedures, compliance, and discipline.
  • Careful, responsible, proactive, and service-minded.
  • Able to work under pressure and support urgent operational requirements.
