[HN] System Admin cum IT Support

The ideal candidate will design, organize, and modify the company's computer systems. This individual will evaluate and assess systems to ensure they are operating effectively. Based on assessments, this individual will harness collected knowledge and make adjustments to existing systems.

Job Description:

We are looking for a System Administrator to be part of our expanding team. We are looking for people who share our passion and can help us achieve our goal. As a System Administrator, your responsibilites will be:

- Install and configure software and hardware

- Manage network servers and technology tools

- Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups

- Set up accounts and workstations

- Troubleshoot issues, diagnosing and resolving hardware, network and system problems.

- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls

- Upgrade systems with new releases and models

- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies

- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements

- Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.

- R&D new tools and technology and setup monitoring system

Qualifications

- Have knowledge on Linux, Window, VMware

- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management

- Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery

- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms

- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

- Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language

- Speaking, Writing and Reading English is preferred.
