Head of Rural Development

Job Description


. Manage the Division Rural Development. Define the strategic direction of the division in close collaboration with the Head of the Business Development Division.
. Manage portfolio and business development, especially related to implementation of investment and technical assistance programs plus analytical work.
. Build a strong network in the rural development space with potential clients, research, and the private sector. Manage projects covering the entire project cycle.
. Understand and develop a strong model to drive strong rural market execution excellence & improve market share.
. Design, recommend and implement innovative Trade Marketing activities through identification of trade channels and segments.
. Expertise in handling the remote rural areas with prior experience of distribution infrastructure/ set-up in the region.Enhance retail / channel/ trade effectiveness.
. Improve relative Market Share in weak patches in Territory by improving distribution depth by better service frequency to customers, distribution efficiency by mapping non buyers with higher industry contribution.
. Develop new business plan in order to increase volume sales Growth mapping and Opportunity tapping.
. Motivate, train & develop frontline sales for achievement of targets & work towards their all-round development.

Minimum 8 years

  • Seasoned experience in Sales or Trade Marketing
  • Strong project experience in Commercial area, and rural expansion

  • Preferably MBA with focus on Strategy or Trade Marketing
