Job Description

1. Manage land legal
  • Plan, manage, monitor and evaluate the progress of the land legal in order to give timely solutions and mitigate all relevant risks.
  • Develop, implement and control annual budget and implementation cost to ensure cost effectiveness of the company.
  • Liaise with authorities for needed documents on legal project.
  • Participate in litigation when the project has problems.
  • Other duties as requested by line manager.

2. Budgeting & Controlling
  • Validate feasibility of the project from a legal perspective.
  • Develop, implement, and control annual budget and implementation cost to ensure cost effectiveness of the company.
  • Finalize and approve OB.
  • Develop an annual personnel plan to meet the business targets/goals in order to come up with the proper operation budget, which is aligned with CEO, HR Director and Group and is managed by both HR and yourself.

3. Manage stakeholders
  • Develop relationships with authorities.
  • Support and coordinate with R&D department, Design Management Division, Construction and Project Management Division and Sales & Marketing division to ensure timely approval of project documentations, company targeted profit and customer satisfaction.
  • Join the Board of Legal

4. Build a high-performing organization, and the associated new enablers for growth
  • Instill the culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Promote functional excellence by ensuring adoption of best-in-class tools, methodologies, and practice, through close collaboration with COE Director, Project Legal.
  • Define talent strategy and capabilities
  • Talent Development: attract, develop and grow resources.
  • Coach, develop, motivate, and provide growth opportunities for management levels and high-potential young employees.
  • Collaborate with HR Division in driving hiring process for management levels
  • Identify and provide feedback through 1:1, effective use of personal development plans and provision of coaching, mentoring & development opportunities to all direct subordinates and ensure they do and implement the same to other levels.

5. Background / Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or Construction Engineer specializing in project management.
  • At least 15-year experience in real estate companies and legal works.
  • At least 5-year experience in similar position in the company with the same scale.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current legal procedures, compensation, site clearance, Land law, Construction law, Design law and Real estate investment ability to give solution to adapt with any changes of the Vietnamese law.
  • Basic knowledge of geography, master plan and other relevant aspects.
  • Strategic view of the investment policies and business development of the company.
  • Basic understanding of HR management (HR, relation development) leadership and allocation of works/resources.
  • Good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Having broad relationship with government entities.
  • Proficiency in English.
