We are currently looking for aHead of Digital Investmentto join us. In this role, you should have a solid knowledge of the Vietnamese digital media marketplace and an innovative and creative approach in deal making and negotiations.

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:
  • You will be working on trading specific reports. Learning to use industry research data and proprietary tools to create accurate reports to build analysis, and negotiation strategy
  • You will have obtained a good understanding of agency business issues and how GroupM can support our Agencies
  • You will have started to build relationships with internal stakeholders

In six months:
  • You will be able to provide sound analyses to support business decisions & strategy
  • You will assist the head of the department in negotiating supplier contracts and finalizing agreements
  • You will start building your relationship with the media suppliers and understand the structure of agreements

In twelve months:
  • You will be able to independently negotiate vendor deals according to set parameters and finalize contracts
  • You will be able to contribute to new business ideas and assist in seeing it through
  • You will be able to provide management leadership when Head of the department is unavailable

Responsibilities of the role
  • Provides direct high-level administrative and analytic digital Investment
  • A point of contact for the department to the internal and external clients of the department
  • Provides support during meetings around the strategies and needs of Investment Department
  • Must be able to work within, and prioritize in, a fast-paced environment, work independently with minimal supervision, must be very capable to deal with data software, mining, contracting, spreadsheets, reporting, negotiations and general management

What you will need:
  • We expect you to not only lead, but to be also hands on, drawing on experience and investment muscle memory to ensure credibility and output.
  • Maturity, talent, a strong work ethic is certainly a big part of what we will look for the successful candidate will however require a minimum +8 Years with relevant agency, client-side media /marketing or consultancy background preferably in Vietnam, but we are open to looking at candidates with experience in other markets with a similar media landscape.
  • Adaptability to tough situations and unpredicted challenges.
  • Excellent numerical analysis skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong, hands-on operational experience with a practical approach to problem solving.
  • Strong and calm under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Exceptional communicator, confident in presenting to senior client and internal stakeholders on trends, investment strategy, trading performance and comfortable when challenged.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Detailed understanding of agency campaign process and how strategy / channel recommendations are turned into first class media plans and execution.
  • Complete understanding of the macro trends in the marketplace with regards to revenue, supply, innovation and development.
  • Understanding of all media channels, with the ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each channel and the impact these have in delivering on the client objectives.
  • Highly numerate with first class negotiation skills.Be able toconstruct negotiation strategies to deliver on client and agency objectives.
  • Articulate a point of view/opinion on trends/developments in the marketplace.
  • Clear and concise communication skills - written and verbal
  • High level of presentation skills.
  • Full understanding of all GroupM trading tools.
  • Results driven with responsibility for delivery of all client investment results and agency targets.
