We are looking for a Group Manager, Casegoods. The position is open to both local and expat candidates.
POSITION DETAILS
Position title:Group Manager, Casegoods
Report to:Asia General Manager
Working location:Vietnam (travel required)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the new developments and production in Asia for casegoods.
Ensure all new developments and production meet specifications based on company/customers expectations.
Manage and support QC staff onsite.
Review all data prior to passing to the US to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Review and approve all samples before shipping to customers or US office.
Review and approve PPS samples to ensure original sample specifications are followed.
Review all cuttings and collect product dimension data for every first cutting.
Ensure vendors ship on time and notify Management of any foreseeable production delays.
Establish good working relationships with vendors and assist them when needed.
Assist the Vietnam office on operational issues when needed.
Other tasks assigned by Manager or US Headquarters.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
At least 10 years of work experience in the furniture industry, especially casegoods.
Fluent English communication.
Able to communicate in Chinese is an advantage.
