JOB DESCRIPTION:

Working Location: Handi Resco Tower, Kim Ma, Ba Dinh, Ha Noi
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Work with Regional Government Affairs Director to align on goals, strategy and action plans for Vietnam, Thailand & CLM
. Be delegated to implement some activities to achieve targeted goals
. Attend some meetings internally with Abbott affiliates in these markets
. Attend some meetings with Government stakeholders, business associations in Vietnam, represent Abbott with key Abbott values.
. Take notes, prepare reports of these meetings.
. Carry out desktop reviews and prepare reports on relevant policy issues and ideas
. Draft position papers as instructed by Regional Director
. Complete and maintain on time monthly/weekly reports as needed
. Be assigned to support businesses on some market access work as instructed by the regional director
. Collaborate with other affiliates and other function in an effective manner
JOB REQUIREMENT:
Education and Skills:
. Bachelor's degree, master degree is preferred
. Proficient skills in MS Office
. Proficient language skills in English and Vietnamese, both verbal and written
Core Competencies Required:
. Being able to work independently with organizational, and planning skills
. Being mature, be able to work with cross functional team, in a diverse cultural environment
. Being committed and goal-driven
Qualification/Experience:
. Have more than 10 years of working experience preferably in government affairs area, no prior healthcare experience required
. Possess a good understanding of Vietnam regulatory policies, able to be trained, high level of commitment
. Have a pleasant personality & a mindset that fits with Abbott core values
