As the General Manager of a prestigious 5-star resort nestled in the captivating city of Dalat, you will be the driving force behind the resort's success. You will lead and manage all aspects of the operation, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, financial growth, and the continued prestige of the resort's brand.
Sales & Marketing Expertise: Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to attract new clientele and strengthen brand recognition. Build strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and key industry partners.
Strategic Leadership: Possess a proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies that drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability. Be adept at conducting market research, competitor analysis, and SWOT analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
Operational Excellence: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, streamlining operational processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices in hospitality management to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and service delivery.
Financial Acumen: Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial principles and hospitality accounting. Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, cost control measures, and profitability analysis to ensure the resort's financial health.
Human Capital Management: Lead by example, fostering a positive, motivated, and high-performing team environment. Recruit, train, mentor, and develop staff to their full potential, nurturing a culture of excellence in guest service.
Revenue Management: Employ data-driven strategies to optimize room rates, occupancy levels, and ancillary revenue streams to maximize overall profitability.
Technology Adoption: Embrace new technologies and digital marketing trends to enhance guest experiences, improve operational efficiency, and drive online bookings.
Public Relations & Reputation Management: Cultivate positive relationships with media outlets, community leaders, and local businesses to enhance the resort's reputation and visibility. Proactively address guest concerns and manage crisis situations effectively.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and brand standards. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues and ensure guest safety.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in luxury resort management, with a proven track record of success.
Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
Fluency in English with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese culture and customs to provide guests with an authentic and personalized experience. Minimum 3 years of hospitality experience in Vietnam.
