Role Description
- You will lead the full-cycle product research for the U.S. market - digging deep into data across e-commerce platforms, social media trends, consumer reports, magazines, and any credible market source.
- Your output is a strong Product Development Portfolio with clear recommendations that guide our manufacturing partners to build competitive, high-potential products for Global B2C.
- This role works tightly with factories, designers, internal stakeholders, and partners so you need both a sharp analytical mind and strong communication instincts.
Key Responsibilities
- Research U.S. market trends across Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Pinterest, industry reports, and relevant magazines.
- Analyze product performance, customer reviews, pricing, materials, and category opportunities.
- Build and maintain Product Development Portfolios with clear rationale, data insights, and risk assessments.
- Work directly with manufacturers to co-develop new products - from idea validation to sampling.
- Track competitor launches, materials innovation, packaging trends, and sustainability requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Clients) to ensure alignment from research development launch.
- Prepare clean, structured research reports and presentations for both internal and client-facing use.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in Furniture / Home Dcor relevant fields (Export experience is a plus).
- Data analysis skills, fluent in Excel / Google Sheets.
- Comfortable visiting and working on-site with multiple manufacturers across cities.
- Excellent communication skills: confident in client-facing sessions, able to explain research logic clearly and handle multi-party coordination.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and product intuition.
- English reading comprehension strong enough for trend reports, reviews, and foreign materials.
