Vietnam MU is emerging economy with high population growth, rapid economic development and a rising middle class. As a result, salty snacks categories are rapidly growing and hence a Greenfield project in Hanam province has been approved for a total Capital investment of $88MM. The project requires a new role of Electrical Engineer to manage project execution at Hanam site. This role will potentially be considered for Plant Instrumentation & Controls Engineer or Plant Project Engineer once the project is completed, and manufacturing plant is handed over for commercial operation.
The role will be responsible to execute site electrical and control works, ensuring projects scope, cost, meeting plant's performance criteria & KPI's having overall visibility of project's capital spending plan.
Responsibilities
Responsible for Supervision of electrical and control works to ensure quality and specification are met throughout the execution of project.
Supervise MEP works and lead the execution agenda meeting project timelines.
Supervise Process & Packaging line installation, coordinate with all OEM's on equipment installation, commissioning and handing over to operations.
Lead PMC team from design house on all Electrical and Controls related site execution.
Coordinate with design house and review all electrical drawings design issued for site execution.
Close collaboration with cross functional teams within PepsiCo,
Adhere to PepsiCo's global standards on Electrical Controls, EHS, MESS and Construction management.
Compliance to local Govt regulations including Electrical Controls, Health & Safety and Environmental regulations.
Support Capex / Opex spending, including verification of the billing against electrical work progress following project governance.
Execute snag list, gap closures and minor improvement requested by plant operation to deliver effective operations.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or similar technical background
