JOB DESCRIPTION

Business Planning and Development
  • Prepare Annual Business and Marketing Plan
  • Do environmental scan, market research, forecast future travel patterns and provide trade proposals to the management
  • Keep abreast of products and industry innovations
  • Identify business potential for all market segments

Marketing and Branding
  • Manage the Marketing communications to promote the brand and position the hotel for target markets
  • Develop strategies and tactics for PR campaigns for products and services
  • Execute collateral and advertising programs according to brand standards
  • Organize and attend tradeshows when requested
  • Establish and maintain contacts with professional people, the press, media, government officials, corporates and with any persons who are clients or potential clients

Sales Management
  • Be fully responsible for achieving sales financial targets
  • Set selling rates and reserved rates in consulting with the General Manager
  • Implements strategies and steps to achieve revenue targets in all segments and channels
  • Enter into negotiations on behalf of the company as and when required
  • Ensure that the sales team meet clients requirement and that the client service offered corresponds effectively to their requests
  • Compile monthly Sales & Marketing Highlight Summary of all segmentations, Sales Activities, Competitor Analysis and Market Share Analysis

People Management
  • Manage the performance of Sales and Marketing team members
  • Provide regular guidance/coaching/feedback to Sales & Marketing staff
  • Facilitate staff development
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • BA/MA degree in Hospitality Management or related experience
  • At least 5 years of working experience in similar role at international brand names
  • Expert in yield management and channel management
  • Strong knowledge in branding and positioning
