Job Description


Role Summary
Direct key activities for channel marketing strategies i.e. assortment, pricing, merchandising and promotion of each channel to in line with brand strategy as well as control and monitoring. Assesses, determines, and prioritizes potential market growth opportunities and new product innovation planning, development and implementation. Holds long-term and short-term marketing & financial plan, as well as profit & loss responsibility. Ensures that the trade marketing team operates in a legal and ethical manner and those products and services are marketed in accordance with compliance requirements.
Core Job Responsibilities

  • Helping the business meet its top line sales objectives
  • Develop Trade Marketing Strategy to help achieve sales and distribution objectives
  • Develop channel strategies for existing and new channels.
  • Sales plan for NPI and NPI tracking
  • Develop consumer promotion strategies with proper action standards and easurement criteria.

Develop category-based propositions for key accounts to help ANI drive category growth

Position experiences:
  • Execute channel marketing management assignments in multiple categories.
  • Work in more than one business, in more than one geographic location. Turn around under-performing or failing brand(s). Take on and succeed with assignments where risks and opportunities are high. Overcome obstacles.
  • Launch new brands and new products. Bring innovations to existing brands and products to market.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of business drivers and an ability to influence them to achieve growth.
  • Carry brand strategy and P&L responsibility.
  • Possess a track record of tangible results in each role

  • Category dynamics, customer, consumer, and shopper insights and understanding
