About This Role

Serve as the business leader of our organization's operations in Vietnam. Indirectly overseeing and managing all activities in Vietnam, including working directly with cross-functional leaders in Product, Technology, Finance, and executive leadership to coordinate business operations, monitor and motivate staff, assist with managing operational costs, and direct Vietnam business operations overall. Additional areas of focus include increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and meeting business objectives.

The successful candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions, and strong leadership qualities. The noteworthy candidate should account for all business activities, support staff development, enhance efficiency, enhance the organization's image, and meet overall Vietnam specific objectives.

This role will report into the General Manager of WebMD Health Services.


  • Oversee daily business operations in Vietnam collaborating closely with key leaders in Vietnam and key leaders in the United States.
  • Indirectly support several key Vietnam based leaders and individuals who report into United States based functional organizations, including Product, Technology, Finance, Recruiting, and Human Resources
  • Develop and implement growth strategies to improve productivity and margin profile of Vietnam operations
  • Ensure timely hiring and onboarding of staff
  • Collaborate regularly with United States and Vietnam Product and Technology leadership teams to evaluate staff performance and productivity
  • Collaborate with Vietnam Finance team to ensure that financial/government audits are completed on time and share reports with US team
  • Collaborate with Vietnam Finance team to ensure that timely submission of all statutory filings with government agencies are done (Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly)
  • Collaborate with Vietnam Finance team on Ad Hoc Financial and HR reports as requested by US team


  • Degree in business management, business administration, or equivalent
  • Deep knowledge of local laws and regulations
