Job Description

ETS the world's leading assessment and learning research organization is looking for a lead manager based in each of the following (sets of) markets to develop and implement marketing plans in support of growth for its TOEFL® and GRE® products and services:
  • Indonesia
  • Thailand
  • Vietnam
Each market role will define, communicate, and manage brand strategy internally and externally to drive volume/revenue. The lead will position brands to propel shifts in preference and buying behavior among target audiences. Additionally, the role will coordinate with ETS Regional and HQ marketing teams and any in-country agencies to deliver effective campaigns for which KPIs are measured and analyzed for optimization. As such, the role will coordinate closely with the corresponding product and support teams as well.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive marketing strategy, planning, and implementation, including the development and execution of marketing plans and tactics focused on driving test registration volume
  • Lead in the development of localized messaging strategies across traditional and digital channels
  • Collaborate with ETS HQ marketing teams to develop and lead in the execution of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to engage and leverage additional education stakeholders, including but not limited to MOE, universities and colleges, high schools, study abroad agents, English language teachers, advisors, and test prep schools
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials, campaigns, and programs for the local market
  • Gather and provide relevant market information and customer insights to inform strategic planning/direction
  • Identify and report on new business opportunities within the framework of the marketing plans and annual budget
  • Work with partners, and vendor networks to ensure effective and efficient operations
Experiences and skills:
  • 8+ years of marketing experience and demonstrated success in brand marketing and target audience communication, preferably for an internationally-recognized brand
  • Self-starter
  • Proven problem solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication in English speaking and writing
  • College degree or higher (e.g., MBA; MA; Ph.D.)
  • Knowledge of the higher education space is a plus
  • Experience in Consumer Package Goods or educational products/services is preferred
