Job Description

  • Manage all activities of the accounting department.
  • Daily tasks: Handle daily tasks related to agents, shipping lines, customers, and internal matters.
  • AR/AP Aging Report: Control accounts receivable/payable, ensure timely debt collection, and conduct weekly debt reporting meetings.
  • AR/AP Process: Lead and review the team's work to ensure compliance with accounting processes and standards.
  • Job Closing: Ensure file closure by the 8th of each month.
  • BS/PL/Combine Report and BS Schedule Report: Review BS and PL reports by each item to ensure account balances match across both systems.
  • AR/AP CF Monthly: Reconcile AR/AP data at month-end across both systems.
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports: Ensure all reports are sent on time.
  • Matching Report DTS and VAS: Reconcile data between the two systems to ensure year-end data accuracy.
  • FS Audited Report Consolidated: Handle data for annual consolidated financial reports with auditors.
  • Sales Performance Quarterly: Calculate quarterly sales bonuses for the sales team.
  • VAT/CIT/PIT Tax Report: Ensure tax reports and payments are submitted on time as per tax regulations.
  • Update Tax Rules: Update the team and BOD on tax laws and issues related to the business.
  • Credit Term: Check credit terms and notify the sales and customer service teams when terms expire.
  • Internal Control: Check team data entry compliance to ensure no discrepancies between Ops and FIN systems.
  • Update Tax Rules: Update the team and BOD on tax laws and business-related issues as needed.
  • Monthly Report: Explain report figures to HQ and BM as required.
  • Maintain accounting records and prepare financial reports in accordance with Vietnamese and company standards.
  • Supervise all accounting transaction processes, ensuring the completeness of internal and external reports.
  • Prepare annual budgets.
  • Work with auditors for annual year-end financial reports.
  • Other tasks: Other tasks as required by BM and HQ.

Requirements for Candidates

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of financial reporting
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws regarding accounting, finance, and taxation
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software
  • Good command of English
  • At least five years of experience as Chief Accountant in Logistics/Forwarder companies
  • Experience in tax settlement
