1. General Description
To drive new business opportunities, grow profitable revenue streams, and strengthen Company Road VN's position in Vietnam's road transport market. This role requires a balance of hunting for new customers and expanding existing relationships, aligned with the division's strategic focus on domestic trucking, cross-border trucking, customs brokerage, domestic airfreight, cross-dock solution, and railway services.
2. Specific Accountabilities
• Responsible for developing business sales plan for Road Product
• Responsible for developing logistics solution and Road strategy
• Responsible for bringing in new business for the company
• Knowledgeable of regulatory developments in respect of trucking and distribution in Vietnam
• Work with the solution team/ tender management team for generating proposals for potential business clients which are in line with the company's strategic focus, fully cost and structured in accordance with company pricing principles and business ethics
• Penetrate new geographies and new segments (Ex. Consumer& Retail, Technology and Industrial) and service offerings in Vietnam
• Create and close new deals with target named customers – including large development deals
• Timely CRM update with qualified leads and pipeline status to meet sales governance standards
• Understand Company Road Network and utilize our network to build up the customer pipeline
• Work with KAMs and Field sales from other Division for Road opportunity and develop to win business and support for commercial & legal preparation
• Able to work with internal stakeholders to align the credit terms, legal framework within the stipulated time to ensure that the contract can be signed off by the customer
• To set up and implement new client operations till it is stabilized
• Ensure smooth transition of existing accounts to operation team post-stabilization phase (conversion of new business to existing business after 12 month period)
• Maintain and follow company rules, regulations and Health, Safety and Environmental Standards.
• Guide and support all functions for all related customer's matter
Job requirements
1. Skills Required
• Able to set up and operate new business processes with strong background in logistics and SCM
• Strong in analytical skills
• Process mapping/Business Process Improvement
• Problem solving and decision-Making skills
• Good interpersonal with strong in presentation skills
• Good command of English with computer literacy is mandatory
• Negotiation and influencing skills
2. Experience and Qualifications
• Bachelor's in foreign Trade/ Economics / Business or any related field
• Manager/Senior Executive/Executive level – Min 2 to 3 years in road freight/ logistics BD
