As a Bid & Proposal Specialist, you will be responsible for achieving key KPIs with respect to bidding, analyzing the customer's needs with respect to our product offerings and propose solutions to the customer to help them achieve their objectives. Reporting to Local Division Manager, coordinating with HUB Industry Lead (HUB SAMA - South Asia, middle East, and Africa) as well as Local team to have Solution, Services and Digital Technical sales to meet customer requirement - Right estimation, Right value proposition, Right solution design. Will be responsible for coordinate with the cross functions like Operations to understand the solution feasibility, experience of the solutions offered.Your responsibilities

  • Understanding ABB portfolio of offering in control system offering Solution, services and digital offering in Paper, Cement, Metals, Mining, Data Center Automation, F&B segments
  • Helping Sales in handling technical and commercial request from customers. Prepare technical / commercial solution for customer requirement
  • Having knowledge of ABB control system and electrification would be an added advantage
  • Right alignment within the Sales team and cross functional teams to ensure relevant commercial term and condition for bidding package
  • Supporting coordination of Supply Chain activities for in bidding phase ie material alternate resolution. material long term supply strategy.
  • Developing new offering tools, offering strategy
  • To design an optimum solution to increase our winnability
  • Reviewing contract template for awarded bid and hand over to project execution team
  • Liaising with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
Your background

  • Engineer in Automation / Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or related equivalent degree with approximately 6-9 years of relevant work experience in Technical Sales, Estimation, Offering, Customer interface
  • Experience in estimation, positioning and selling control and automation systems
  • Experience in design & engineering
  • Experience in Digitalization offering in the industry will be an added advantage
  • Experience in supply chain for the projects
  • Well versed in MS Office application and
  • Accident insurance
