Join our dynamic OpenWorld team as a Backend Engineer and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the blockchain industry, particularly focusing on Yield Leverage Farming (YLF).
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve backend systems and APIs for blockchain-based applications.
Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in blockchain technology, particularly in Yield Leverage Farming (YLF).
Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code quality standards.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Continuously optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the software platform.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2-3 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer, with a focus on NestJs.
Strong understanding of blockchain technology and its principles, with specific knowledge of Defi.
Familiarity with NextJs is a plus.
Experience with gRPC and protocol buffers.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Self-motivated with a passion for learning and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the fintech or cryptocurrency industry.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Contributions to open-source projects or participation in relevant communities.
