The Role Responsibilities
To minimize fraud losses to Retail products by implementing fraud prevention procedures and conducting investigations into fraud cases to identify potential gaps

  • Follow standard fraud risk management to process to handle fraud applications and transactions properly.

  • Liaison with market peers (including Visa) to acquire fraud intelligence and to initiate fraud deterrent actions

  • Review suspicious fraud case referred from CI, collection and other units.

  • Perform fraud investigation for non lending and lending (Retail product) if potential fraud loss amount is less than 100.000USD.

  • Liaison with Compliance Investigation team for fraud investigation if potential fraud loss amount is greater than 100.000USD or staff fraud involved.

  • Prepare all fraud dashboard report and fraud charge off memo.

  • Recommend fraud charge off if any.

  • Add blacklist fraud customers.

  • Complete other duties assigned by line manager / Team Manager time to time.

Risk Management

  • Identify potential gaps in process/products during investigation in term of application & transaction fraud.

  • Raise staff awareness & enhance fraud detection skills for relevant stakeholders through trainings

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Lead the Vietnam / Risk Operations/ FRM to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank&rsquos Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients Financial Crime Compliance

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
