Job Description
  • The Communications & Change Specialist will help identify, set priorities and strategies, and drive the internal change for Manulife Vietnam’s Customer Experience Transformation program.
  • Apply change management approaches, tools and methodology to drive strategy that supports the adoption of changes required by project teams and the business.
  • Devise and deliver measurement that assesses the effectiveness of communication, linked to the business objectives, and make informed recommendations for future engagement.
  • Understand and align to the business strategy to develop impactful change events and experiences that showcase the internal culture and embrace our corporate objectives.
  • Easily asses change and communications needs of the business, projects, work streams and provide consultation and support where appropriate.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams throughout the consulting life-cycle with a focus on championing change with the business.
  • Create and deliver memorable communications that drive engagement, create buzz, utilise new and existing channels and tools, and enable a culture of engaged participation.
  • Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization’s strategic vision and brand.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop, implement, and manage internal communications strategy, as well as work closely with different departments and teams to support the communications needs of the business.
  • Solicit stories of project success, customer and agent news and other noteworthy events for internal channels.
  • Improve penetration of internal comms key messages to all staff
  • Embrace a cost conscious approach to communications activities and deliver effective budgeting, forecasting and financial management.
  • Partner with Public Relations in identifying opportunities to tell our stories more broadly to our customers, industry and distribution teams.
  • Work with the in-house design team and events team to create a cohesive look and feel across activities, while incorporating the Manulife brand guidelines.
  • Follow approved internal processes and procedures while ensuring invoices, expenses and bills for payment are made in a timely fashion.

  • Strong creative minded individual who is able to generate new exciting ways of communicating.
  • Demonstrable experience in Agile ways of working and thinking, including a strong understanding of stand-ups, scrums, agile walls, sprints, project teams, backlogs, lean, release and other key terms and processes would be highly beneficial
  • Skilled at listening, clarifying and sharing information easily in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Highly collaborative working style with the ability to build strong working relationships and influence.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and manage priorities.
  • Decisive and mature in judgement with a focus on execution excellence.
  • Easily resolve complex issues by taking a proactive approach to analyse problems and generate solutions.
