POSITION DESCRIPTION

MAIN PURPOSES OF ROLE

The Administrative Licensing & Litigation Attorney (ALL/A) roles are created for professionals to support the Firm in providing business Licensing, Litigation, and Immigration professional consulting services. The incumbents should demonstrate initiative and the ability to analyze and solve problems, exercise good judgment, and be able to manage a wide range of tasks and confidential matters with discretion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

i. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out deep dive analysis of business plan or performance, financial projection/model and other materials related to business and investment projects to prepare F/S, preliminary or market research and business proposal to provide advisory services, including market entry and licensing to investors, corporate clients seeking to establish or expand their business in Vietnam and/or abroad;

ii. Dealing with governmental agencies with issues relating to client's requests for licenses and permits to legally start or continue their business. The ALL/A is expected to be a subject matter expert in administrative law, standards, procedures and regulations for licensing business professionals, corporate entities, affiliated business arrangements, immigration as well as many other permited/licensed individuals, expats from doctors to pharmacists, contractors, attorneys, real estate, and any other field of professionals.

iii. Act as licensing expert on clients behalf. Where necessary and required by the service line Principal, as the litigation attorney dealing with competent licensing authorities to obtain the license or permit that the client qualified for and deserved to.

iv.Member of the Firm's attorney committee on corporate and business disputes, ADR, and litigation.

v.Jointly contribute to the team of professionals and high-potential talents in the Team's effort to provide optimized service deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS

-Bachelor's degree in law or business administration from reputable universities; an active bar member practicing law;

-At least 2 years in a law firm, management consulting, auditing, or any similar field at consulting firms, Big4, MNCs, or VNR500. Experience in market entry/ business licensing/ cross-border transactions/ immigration consulting services is a plus;

-Client-centric, logical, analytical and problem-solver, attention to details, multitasker, tact, diplomacy and professional and able to work under high pressure/ deadlines;

-Strong interpersonal skills; active listening and excellent oral and written communication skills in Vietnamese. Good at one of the foreign business languages (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, French, or German) would be advantages;

-Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with both clients and governmental agencies inperson, via phone and email inquiries;

-Good command in Microsoft Office, internet and web admin, be a tech-savvy and OSINT.
