KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Handle tasks of IFRS for monthly/ quarterly actuarial reporting.
  • Ensure good documentations and high-quality disclosures per Group requirements.
  • Support newcomers in valuation team.
  • Responsible for the delivery of regular actuarial IFRS reporting with high-quality reports and timeliness.
  • Co-ordinate with finance department in Management Information reports, and business plan to ensure quality results are delivered on time.
  • Enhance commentaries in all reporting dashboards for management to take timely and actionable decisions (MI and FD).
  • Enhance the valuation control, governance, and documentation all Group reports in line with Group model governance policy.
  • Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data, assumptions, methods, modelling, process, and financial results.
  • Aid with modelling new products into Prophet Workspace with optimized coding and accuracy.
  • Participate in IFRS17 UAT, provide local input to test case design, review test cases & tools developed and UAT results

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • Degree holder of any disciplines, (Mathematics/Actuarial Science with good progress in pursuing professional qualifications would be an advantage).
  • Experience in valuation, financial reporting and modelling areas is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail minded, self-motivated, able to work under pressure
  • Preferably at least 1 â€' 2 Actuarial Exams or relevant designations.
  • Prophet experience is a plus.
