YOUR TASKS:

Customer - Internal

  • Liaise with other stations to ensure the accurate and timely processing of inter-company expenses and payments.
  • Liaise with all business entities in producing month end statements.

Stakeholders - External

  • Ensure all customer enquiries and complaints are handled promptly and in a professional manner.
  • Ensure timely and accurate vendors and suppliers accounts payable.

Process

  • Accurately record the company's financial transactions.
  • Compile monthly, quarterly and annual reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Liaise with Regional Office and the Hub (where applicable) on report compilation.
  • Prepare assets and liabilities reconciliation statement.
  • Forecast daily bank balances and requirements.
  • Assist in compiling the AOP.
  • Ensure the effective and proper management of petty cash.
  • Reconcile accounts before payment
  • Issue all-typed payment
  • Issue report on outstanding non-paid items
  • Book personnel related-costs for individual staff
  • Handle creditors queries
  • Control cheque estoppel
  • Monitor and deposit claim/deposit cheque
  • Check and control creating new account code for creditors

People Management

-Incumbent has no direct reports and authority over country line and functional personnel. Nevertheless he/she must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions through provision of value-added inputs into the organization's business processes.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • 1-year experience in accounting (preferable)
  • Bachelor of Degree in Accountancy or related field
  • Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Analytical skills
  • Basic English skills
  • Good planning & Organizing
  • Demonstrated decision making skills & a result-oriented mindset
  • Teamwork skills
  • Accountability skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-management skills
