Job Summary

The National GT Sales Manager – Vietnam is responsible for growing BIC's business within the GT channel across Vietnam. The role owns the sales plan (develop and implement to achieve sales target (including wholesales, retails and B2B channel). Working closely with distributors as logistics and execution partners, the role drives sales growth, distribution expansion, market share gains and profitable customer development while ensuring excellent in-market execution.

Responsibilities

Business Growth

Deliver sales, profitability and market share objectives.
Plan & execute promotional & incentive plans and maximize return on investments.
Identify growth opportunities & issues through category, pricing and customer analysis.
Develop new channel (B2B) to grow business.

Distributor & Execution Management

Develop and manage relationship with distributor and their sub-distributors & key customers.
Align distributor with customer plans and priorities.
Ensure execution excellence, product availability and visibility compliance.
Monitor customer performance and drive corrective actions when required.

Route To Market review an optimization

Manage and optimize the route to market, ensuring effective coverage and operational efficiency.

Sales force training & coaching

Track & review sales force's efficiency and have action plan for improvement.
Coach, train, and supervise sales staff to ensure compliance with company standards and achievement of sales objectives.

Planning & Collaboration

Provide accurate forecasts and business updates.
Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service teams.

Previous / Professional Experience:

Required

Minimum 7 years of FMCG sales – GT Channel experience.
Proven experience managing General Trade, RTM.
Experience working with distributor-led business models.
Demonstrated success in delivering sales growth and profitability targets.

Desired

Experience with B2B channel.
Experience in Cigarettes, Lighters, Shavers is a plus
Exposure to Category Management and Revenue Growth Management initiatives

Education & Additional Requirements:

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Sales or a related discipline.
MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Languages

Fluent Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).

Additional Requirements

Based in HCM City, Vietnam.
Willingness to travel regularly across nationwide.
Strong analytical, communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working within multicultural and cross-functional environments.
