The Costing Manager is responsible for overseeing product costing, manufacturing cost control, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis across production operations. Description

Lead and manage all product costing and inventory valuation activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Monitor actual manufacturing costs against standards, identify key variances, and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability.

Oversee costing by product, production order, and customer order to support operational and commercial decision-making.

Manage product cost calculations, standard cost updates, BOM reviews, and manufacturing overhead allocations.

Partner with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure data integrity and accurate cost reporting.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning processes by providing detailed cost analysis and business insights.

Evaluate make-versus-buy opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.

Manage inventory costing controls, oversee stock counts and reconciliations, and ensure timely resolution of inventory variances.

Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost Accounting within a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong expertise in product costing, inventory valuation, standard costing, variance analysis, and manufacturing cost control.

Proven experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
